Module 1: Technical base
Provides an overview of technical concepts in relation to:
- Variables: Declaration, Data types, Destructuring
- Loops with focus on for-each and while loops
- Switches
- Declaration and how to use respective why its an an alternative to a series of if-else statements
- Condition definition respective
else
- REST services
- Cron
- Introduction to SQL
This module is optional and relevant for persons with little or no software development experience. You can complete training module 1 online.
Module 2: Flowy base training
Participants should have general software development experience or have completed module 1. The module introduces to Flowy key concepts:
- Flowy objects: cover the different objects that are used in Flowy, such as triggers, processes, credentials, steps, and more
- Flowy variables, cache and basic logs: an introduction to Flowy variables and how they are used in Flowy processes; the use of cache for performance optimization, and how to read and understand basic logs for debugging purposes
- Creation of workflows: learn how to create workflows in Flowy; cover the different steps and actions involved and how they can be combined
- Authentication: how to handle authentication both from and to Flowy
- Flowy versioning: the concept of versioning in Flowy and the importance of version control
- Roles and permissions: explains what roles and permissions are, how to assign them, and why they are important for security and access control
- Basic performance and scalability considerations: an introduction to performance optimization and scalability in Flowy; covers topics such as simultaneous executions, processing duration, and other factors that can affect performance
This module is recommended for Flowy users of any level. You can complete training module 2 online.
Module 3: Flowy advanced
The advanced module addresses topics of:
- entity: correct usage, generation of persistence and Flowy objects, version control and lifecycle
- logging and performance monitoring: involves the tracking and recording of events and metrics during the operation of a Flowy process; learn how do diagnose and debug issues, as well as identify potential areas for optimization
- performance and scalability optimisations: strategies and techniques to improve the efficiency and speed of Flowy processes
- recommended architecture: outlines the recommended structure and design of your Flowy system to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability considering factors like the size and nature of your workloads, your business requirements, and your IT resources and constraints.
- best practices: provides guidelines and standards for designing, implementing, and managing Flowy processes
- the module hub and its usage: introduces the Module Hub, a repository of reusable Flowy modules; shows how to use these modules to speed up the development of Flowy processes, reduce code duplication, and leverage proven solutions
Participants should have completed module 2; implementation experience with Flowy is an advantage.
This training is relevant for Flowy developers as well as administrators and engineers responsible for operative support.
Module 4: Flowy extension
Provides hands-on insights to plug-in development. Relevant for developers who want to extend Flowy and/or provide modules to others through the Hub. Participants should have completed module 3 and have mid- or senior level knowledge of software development.
Module 5: Flowy installation & operation
The following topics are addressed:
- Flowy installation
- Instance management
- Scaling and fail-over
This training is relevant for on-premise users with the focus on administrators / operative engineers. Participants should have completed at least module 2 and 3; additional completed modules are an advantage.
Module 6: Pre-sales and sales
The training is designed to provide sales and pre-sales professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively sell Flowy to customers and prospects.
Participants will learn about the key features and capabilities of Flowy, as well as how to demonstrate the value of the platform to potential customers. They will also learn about the various use cases for Flowy and how it can be used to automate and digitize processes in a variety of industries.
This modules enables the participants to drive revenue and growth for their organization, while also helping their customers to improve efficiency and productivity through the use of Flowy.
This module can be completed on its own, but we recommend completing Module 2 first.

The program offers specialized exams tailored to various roles, ensuring that certified individuals possess the necessary expertise in their respective fields. Certificates are valid for three years, after which renewal training is available to keep your skills current.
Pre-sales and sales certification
This certification concentrates on Flowy's fundamentals, as well as pre-sales and sales training. It also highlights specific use cases where Flowy excels, demonstrating its versatility and suitability for diverse applications.
Developer certification
The Developer Certification delves into both the core concepts of Flowy and advanced training. This comprehensive approach ensures that certified developers are proficient in Flowy's capabilities and can effectively utilize the platform to its fullest potential.
Operative Support
The Operative Support Certification assesses an individual's expertise in the areas covered by Flowy's basic and operational training. This certification guarantees that certified professionals possess the necessary skills to effectively manage and support Flowy implementations.
